David A. Rondon
David Rondon is a proud and passionate advocate on behalf of immigrants and Americans in defense of their rights and in pursuit of their dreams. A multilingual, experienced and versatile attorney, David has led his own legal practice for the past 14 years in South Florida and the Washington D.C. area. He has represented clients across the United States and from around the world in immigration legal matters and in legal matters in Florida.
David provides uniquely designed legal solutions to his clients, whether individuals or companies, and prides himself on the close, personal relationship that he creates and maintains on a continuous basis with all of his clients. Fully fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and conversant in French and Italian, David’s approach to the practice of law and to the world is strongly shaped by his multicultural background, his strong belief in and advocacy for democracy and human rights, and his experiences traveling and living across the United States and Latin America. He brings this perspective to interactions with his clients and with government institutions on a daily basis.
Prior to his direction of Rondon Law Firm, David directed the Immigration & Nationality Practice at Gonzalez & Garcia, a personal injury and workers compensation firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. He started his immigration law career in 2007 at a Miami boutique firm focusing on National Interest Waivers, extraordinary ability visas and green cards, and EB-5 immigrant investor and regional center petitions. Prior to his immigration work, David garnered extensive experience in international human rights law, interning at prestigious international organizations and non-profits, including the Organization of American States (Washington, D.C.), the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (Washington, D.C.), the Andean Commission of Jurists (Lima, Peru), and Conectas Human Rights (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
David is a graduate of one of America’s premier law schools, the George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C. He also holds an advanced graduate degree in Latin American & Caribbean Studies from the prestigious New York University in New York City, and is a graduate of the world-renowned Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
